Grant Advice & SEAI Support

Upgrading an older home? Many energy‑efficiency measures attract generous government grants through the SEAI Home Energy Grants and One‑Stop‑Shop schemes—provided the dwelling was built before 2006 for individual measures, or before 2011 for deep‑retrofit bundles.

Common eligible works

  • Attic, cavity, internal or external wall insulation

  • Heating‑controls upgrades or full heat‑pump installations

  • Solar PV panels and solar water‑heating systems

  • Mechanical ventilation and airtightness improvements

How Q50 helps you secure funding

  1. Eligibility check – We confirm which grants you qualify for and estimate the likely grant amount.

  2. Pre‑works documentation – Our assessors complete the mandatory pre‑works BER and any Technical Assessment required by SEAI.

  3. Application support – We guide you through the online grant application and liaise with SEAI‑registered contractors.

  4. Post‑works sign‑off – After the retrofit we carry out the post‑works BER, upload evidence to the SEAI portal, and help you claim your payment.

Important: Do not start work or pay a deposit until you have received formal grant approval, and always choose an SEAI‑registered contractor.
